Spay and neuter program

Be the Solution: Spay, Neuter, Adopt!

In order to save more animals, having a robust low cost/no cost spay and neuter program is essential. Jameson Humane is working in both Napa and Lake Counties to help stem the tide of overflowing shelters. Cats in particular are contributing to intakes and the related euthanasia at an alarming rate. Lake County is currently experiencing a kitten and puppy population epidemic. It’s a sad fact that the more unwanted puppies and kittens that are born, the higher the euthanasia rates in shelters will become. Did you know that one cat can have between three and four litters per year? Their litters can be quite large — up to 6 kittens — and if these kittens are able to reproduce, one cat’s reproductive ability can be responsible for up to 10,000 more cats in their lifetime.

Jameson Humane wants to do its part in getting the animal population under control. Your donation today will go directly to support Jameson's Spay and Neuter efforts in Napa and Lake Counties.

Your donation would enable Jameson to continue working side-by-side with local veterinarians and rescue groups to get great rates and outstanding service provided.

YES! I want to keep animals out of the shelter and help reduce the euthanasia rate by helping Jameson Humane spay and neuter as many animals as possible.
