Foster
At Jameson Humane, our commitment to helping and saving animals is paramount. Jameson relies on its incredible foster and fospice volunteers to help save animals; from pigs and horses to dogs and cats, our foster homes provide the backbone of our adoption program.

We are always in need of fosters who can commit to any length of time - even just a few days, especially in an emergency situation. We match our foster animals to our foster (or fospice) families to ensure a smooth transition and provide all the necessary equipment: supplies, food, and medical attention.
Specific to ‘Fospice’ (combination of foster and hospice), we seek loving folks who can care for companion or farmed animals who have terminal illnesses or medical needs that may be too overwhelming for a normal adoption. Jameson engages fospice parents who provide palliative care and a safe, loving home for the remainder of an animal’s life. We cover the medical costs and offer support to the fospice parents.

As we have limited space at our property, all of our animals placed in loving foster or fospice homes are fully vetted, vaccinated, and spayed/neutered, before we put them up for adoption.
